Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GDBounty, you agree to these Terms of Service and all related policies. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use GDBounty. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Platform Description

GDBounty is a bounty platform for the Geometry Dash community. We facilitate bounty creation, funding, and payouts, but we are not responsible for disputes between users that arise outside the platform.

4. Bounty Rules

• All bounties must be approved by moderators before going live.
• Minimum bounty value is $10.
• Proof of completion must be submitted as a publicly viewable video.
• The platform retains a 5% fee on all successful payouts.
• Bounty creators are responsible for ensuring their bounty is completable and reasonable before submission.

5. Bounty Payments & Non-Refundability

All bounty funding is final and non-refundable once submitted. By funding a bounty, you acknowledge that:

• If a bounty is never claimed, the funds remain on the platform indefinitely. GDBounty is not liable for unclaimed funds and is under no obligation to return them.
• GDBounty retains a 5% platform fee on all successful payouts.
• Stripe processing fees are deducted from transactions and are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• GDBounty is not responsible for Stripe processing fees or any currency conversion costs incurred during transactions.

6. Impossible or Unreasonable Bounties

GDBounty reserves the right to reject any bounty deemed impossible, unreasonable, or in violation of platform rules.

• Rejected bounties will have their funds returned to the creator minus any Stripe processing fees already incurred at the time of rejection.
• Bounties that are accepted and go live are the creator's responsibility. If a bounty is later deemed unclearable by the community, GDBounty is not obligated to issue a refund to the creator.
• GDBounty moderators have sole discretion in determining whether a bounty is reasonable and completable.

7. Claim Verification & Payouts

All claims are subject to the following conditions:

• All claims must be submitted with valid video proof of completion. Claims without adequate proof will be rejected.
• Claims are reviewed by GDBounty moderators. Approval or rejection is at the moderators' sole discretion.
• Approved claims trigger an automatic payout of 95% of the bounty prize to the claimer's connected Stripe account. The remaining 5% is retained as the GDBounty platform fee.
• GDBounty is not liable for payout delays caused by Stripe or the claimer's banking institution.
• Claimers must have a verified Stripe Connect account set up before submitting a claim. Failure to configure a payout account before claiming is the claimer's sole responsibility.

8. Website Credit

Credit earned through approved claims is held in the user's GDBounty wallet and is subject to the following terms:

• Credit can be used to fund new bounties or cashed out via Stripe.
• GDBounty reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or permanently terminate credit balances in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or platform abuse.
• Credit has no cash value outside of the GDBounty platform and cannot be transferred between accounts.

9. Prohibited Conduct

• No fraudulent claims or fabricated proof submissions.
• No fake accounts or impersonation of other users.
• No harassment or abusive behavior toward other users or moderators.
• No bounties designed to target, harass, or harm specific individuals.
• No circumvention of platform fees or payout processes.

10. Moderation

Moderators have final say on bounty approval and claim review. GDBounty moderators' decisions on claim approvals and rejections are final. Decisions may be appealed by contacting support through official channels, but GDBounty is not obligated to overturn any moderation decision.

11. Account Termination

GDBounty reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account found to be:

• Submitting fraudulent or fabricated claims.
• Abusing the platform, its users, or its moderation team.
• Violating any provision of these Terms of Service.

Banned accounts forfeit any unclaimed credit balance and any funds tied to active bounties created by that account. GDBounty is not obligated to return these funds.

12. Disputes

All disputes regarding bounty outcomes, claim approvals, or payouts must be submitted through official GDBounty support channels. The following conditions apply:

• GDBounty's decision on all disputes is final.
• GDBounty is not liable for disputes between creators and claimers that arise outside the platform.
• Disputes must be raised within 30 days of the relevant transaction or decision. GDBounty will not consider disputes raised after this period.

13. Limitation of Liability

GDBounty is not liable for disputes between users, failed or delayed payments due to third-party processors, content posted by users, losses resulting from platform downtime, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

14. Platform Availability

GDBounty does not guarantee 100% uptime and is not liable for any losses caused by platform downtime, technical issues, or service interruptions. GDBounty reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently shut down the platform at any time without notice.

15. Changes to Terms

GDBounty reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is the user's responsibility to review these terms periodically.
